Why Fertility Is Declining: Environmental Toxins, Lifestyle & What to Do | Realfoodology
I recently sat down with Courtney Swan on the Realfoodology podcast to explore why fertility is declining, and what we can do about it.
We dug into the environmental toxins, lifestyle factors, and gaps in our current healthcare model that are quietly undermining reproductive health for both women and men—and what a truly proactive approach to preconception can look like.
We also discussed how patients are often quickly guided toward IVF without a deeper exploration of why the body may not be ready for pregnancy. While IVF can be an important and necessary tool, it is not without risks, and it doesn’t address the underlying root causes that may be driving infertility in the first place.
I’m grateful to Courtney for creating a platform where these conversations can happen. It’s encouraging to see more and more people beginning to understand just how important preconception health really is.
If you’re trying to conceive, want to protect your fertility, or are committed to doing everything you can to support a healthy pregnancy and baby, I believe this episode will offer a new lens, and real, actionable steps forward.
In this episode, we discuss:

Why preconception health matters more than you may think
