Wellness + Wisdom Podcast: Your Child's Future Starts Long Before Birth
In my conversation with Josh Trent on the Wellness + Wisdom Podcast, I explain why preparing for a baby begins long before conception.
The health of your future child is influenced by the environment you and your partner create today, including nutrition, stress, sleep, inflammation, toxin exposure, metabolic health, and the health of your mitochondria. Your genes matter, but they are not the entire story.
The preconception environment can influence how those genes are expressed and help shape the earliest stages of development.
I also discuss why I do not view “unexplained infertility” as the end of the conversation.
When we look more deeply at the health of both partners, we may uncover factors that can be addressed and supported.
Because eggs and sperm develop over approximately 90 days, the three months before conception offer a meaningful opportunity to strengthen the body, improve nutrient status, reduce toxic burden, and create a healthier foundation for pregnancy and your future child.
The souls coming in need strong bodies, and that preparation begins before conception.
